Partners for Rural Impact – Instructional Animations

The Challenge

Partners for Rural Impact (PRI) provides rural communities with the specialized tools needed to solve local challenges. Moving beyond their traditional model of hosting in-person workshops for community leaders, PRI used grant funding to hire The Farthest Pixel to create a series of instructional animations. These videos, freely available, now allow any rural community to easily learn and apply PRI’s proven methods.

The Solution

To bring PRI’s methodology to life, The Farthest Pixel produced a series of 15 animations featuring relatable role-play characters navigating complex, small-town scenarios. As learners follow these character journeys, they discover how to apply PRI’s problem-solving strategies to their own local challenges. Collaborating closely with PRI, The Farthest Pixel reviewed scripts, designed authentic rural environments and characters, and ensured all animations fully complied with federal accessibility standards.
